Based out of Minneapolis, Mikel Wright & The Wrongs have hosted memorable nights of music for over a decade. Deeply rooted in MN jam culture, the band shiningly transcends genres in every set. Each embodying the sounds and swag of their strongest influences. Each inspired by the past and current jam scene and a mix of Minneapolis funk, Motown soul, New Orleans grooves, Reggae rhythms and American folk and rock. 
 
Mikel broke onto the Minneapolis music scene in 2007 and quickly earned a respected reputation for nurturing ridiculously talented bands and producing unforgettable nights of music. Over the years the band has truly carved out its unique sound and powerful songs as the members have grown brilliantly together.
